What this is

Everyday Creators is a project, platform, and gathering place built around a wider understanding of creativity. It begins from the conviction that creativity is not limited to artists, but shows up in problem-solving, teaching, leadership, care, entrepreneurship, design, adaptation, and the work of shaping a life.

The collective exists to give that broader reality language, structure, and form through books, field guides, conversations, community, and events.

The collective began in lived experience: the recognition that creativity was not only about art, but about the many ways people think, build, respond, improvise, and make meaning. Creativity appeared as an applied human capacity long before it was named that way.

It began with seeing creativity where culture had not learned to look for it.

Community building

Shared spaces for conversation, connection, and mutual recognition among people whose creativity takes many forms.

Field guides

Practical tools for reflection, observation, and action — designed to help readers apply creative insight in real life.

Events

Talks, workshops, and gatherings that bring these ideas into public life and shared practice.

About Tracy Cooper, PhD

Tracy Cooper is the founder of Everyday Creators and the author of Thrill: Everyday Creators. His work explores creativity as a broader human capacity — one that appears not only in art, but in perception, leadership, adaptation, care, and the shaping of a meaningful life.

Everyday Creators brings together that larger vision through writing, research, conversation, and public engagement. The aim is to help more people recognize the forms creativity already takes in their lives and communities.
